Internship / Practicum Candidates for Mental Health and Therapy Students/Continued Education Workshops

FAIR is mental health treatment center offering high-quality training experiences practicum and masters-level interns in psychology and counseling.

FAIR offers comprehensive training experience designed to encourage the development of clinical skills and prepare students for the next level of training as well as for a career as a mental health professional. We offer a dynamic, enriching learning environment with many opportunities for individual and group supervision, didactic seminars, specialty trainings, case conferences, and multidisciplinary team staffings.

FAIR staff also offers Continued Education Workshops for professionals allowing them to expand clinical knowledge and skill in variety of topics.

Our practicum/internship offers experience working with individuals, families and groups on outpatient and intensive outpatient levels of care. We strive to not only be a cutting edge treatment provider but also a community of people dedicated to healing and support of any individual or family experiencing mental health and substance abuse issues. FAIR Counseling will work to resolve all complaints made known on the course, practicum or internship evaluation forms or directly to an employee of FAIR Counseling by email or phone.  Any employee or course presenter who receives a complaint is expected to communicate the issue to John McGuinness the Program Director within 48 hours.  John McGuinness will determine the appropriate course of action and will provide a written or verbal response to either the participant who lodged the complaint or to the employee/contractor who received the complaint who will then be expected to pass on the response to the participant when appropriate.  Complaints submitted through course evaluations will receive responses only when a determination is made then they are of such weight that further action is needed.
