Meet Maria Sciortino, MA, LPCFAIR Counseling Mental Health Counselor

Maria is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She holds a Masters’s degree in Clinical Psychology (Counseling) program from Roosevelt University.

Maria’s experience includes working for Ecker Center for Mental health and the Department of Child and Family Services as a case manager as well as the Alexian Brothers Behavioral Hospital counselor on an adolescent inpatient unit. She graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Minnesota. She also has experience working with adults in residential programs.

Maria has been utilizing skills from treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.

In her personal time, she enjoys traveling and attending music events.
